You can sign up with two of the biggest online coupon sources, Living Social and Groupon, to get some of the best deals in Atlanta.  These aren’t buy one get on free coupons for cans of green beans at Publix.  Instead, these are like lifestyle coupons- where there are steep discounts to be had on teeth whitening, manicures and for various restaurants in and around Atlanta.  You sign up and they send you a daily deal email.  If you like the discount, then you buy the coupon and save it in your online “cart” until you are ready to redeem it.

Newspapers also have coupon deals and I have to say, the best local online coupons are CL Deals with Creative Loafing online and Sunday Paper’s Half Price Depot.  Half Price Depot is great because you know the deal you are getting (1/2 off) and you can them in other cities besides Atlanta.  It’s perfect for travel.
